KRISTINA MILAKOVIC

Kristina Milakovic was born in Belgrade in 1976 and completed her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. She has exhibited widely, in shows and art fairs in Italy and abroad.

Milakovic uses acrylic, pigments, tar and ink, applied with quick, gestural techniques to create layers and drips of colour. Her dramatic, flickering landscapes, in which reality blends with the imagination, contain echoes of Romanticism with its emphasis on an emotional response to nature.
