MIHAIL DINISIUC
Mihail Dinisiuc was born in Moldova in 1989. He holds a degree in Painting from the Chișinău Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts and a degree in Graphic Art from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. The artist’s technical skills have already brought him to the notice of critics and collectors in Italy and abroad and in 2020, the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) in Barcelona acquired one of his major works for its permanent collection.
Dinisiuc works mainly in oil and is drawn to the in-depth study of the human figure. Adopting a neo-Academic style, his paintings show remarkable realism in their meticulous rendition of flesh, muscle, bone and tendon. His latest works, entitled Corpi celesti (Celestial Bodies), explore the relationship between the human body and the cosmos, seen through the artist’s eyes in potentially explosive union.
